It includes a three-course price fixe with a first course of classic salads, a second course with a choice of traditional salmon, chicken and steak dishes and Key Lime pie or ice cream for dessert. But the gem of the deal is the unlimited Fine House Red and White wines. And as an added bonus, drinks are half-off after 10pm. Ruvo Restaurant and Bar in Greenlawn (631) 261-7700 and Port Jefferson (631) 476-3800, are offering “Wine Down Wednesdays,” taking 25% off the price of any bottle of wine, and are also featuring the Wine Dinner Menu on Thursdays, offering a 5 course meal that includes Long Island duck and monkfish with wine for $45 per person.
Strap on the bib and dig in to these dual crustacean (and more) specials. Before the Bridge Restaurant in Hampton Bays (631) 728-9111 is holding The Monday Night Crab Feast with a selection of king crab, crab cakes and soft shell crab along with an appetizer for $22. Restaurant Blue in Blue Point (631) 363-6666 is holding a Blue Point Lobsterfest on Wednesday nights starting at 5:30pm. It includes one 1¼-pound lobster and an all-you-can-eat steak and seafood buffet for $35. Also, all Blue Point beer is half off for the evening.
Finally, avoid being cooped up indoors and enjoy the summertime outdoor vibe. Sagamore Steakhouse in Syosset (516) 496-8000 recently opened their new outdoor lounge. Dripping with ambiance, the space features couches, lanterns, curtains and a fireplace as well as live jazz every Wednesday and Friday night. The space is also available for private events. The WAVE Restaurant and Lounge at Danfords Hotel & Marina in Port Jefferson (800) 332-6367 is now offering dockside dining on weekday evenings, throughout the day on Fridays and Saturdays, and from 11am to 3pm on Sundays. Diners have the option of being served on their boats with a 10% discount.
