Spring Craft Festival Arrives

It’s finally here!

After months of anticipation and practice tasting sessions with your friends in your living room (anyone else?), The Spring Craft Beer Festival will take place THIS SATURDAY (3/27) at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

The fourth annual event will feature over 50 breweries, including several local Long Island companies, and be divided into two separate sessions: 12:30PM – 4:0PM, and 5:30PM – 9:00PM. I will be attending the afternoon session, so come say hi.

Now you may be asking yourself, how will I find godlike blogger Niko Krommydas in a crowd of beer drinkers? Well, I’m pleased to announce that I will debut and be wearing the BRAND NEW OMG SUPER NEAT BEER ADVENTURE, YES!! SHIRT at the festival!

Yep, our very own shirt!

I’m going to keep most of the details secret for now, but I will say this: look for a hunter green shirt that has “KROMMYDAS” on the back, above a “00.” If you happen to be at the festival and see the shirt, come over and tell me what you think. As for the official official debut of our shirt, including photographs and such, it’ll probably be sometime next week.

Excited!

Before I go, I wanted to give props to Great South Bay Brewery, a new brewery based out of Bay Shore that will officially debut at the Craft Beer Festival (Rick Sobotka, founder and brewmaster, will be posted at their festival booth for both sessions). They recently launched a brand new website, http://www.greatsouthbaybrewery.com, that you check out for any updates and information pertaining to their line of products and such.

That’s it for now. See you on Saturday!
