Shahriyour Andaz, MD, FACS, director of thoracic oncology at South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside, has received an Outstanding Performance Award from the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (CoC) for his accomplishments as the liaison between the cancer program at South Nassau and the CoC. Dr. Andaz played a key role in the hospital’s cancer program receiving accreditation by the CoC.
