Yet another exclusive goodie from The Good Life, easily the beer bar droppin’ the most hammerz on Long Island in recent months.

This one goes live on Wednesday, 9/1 at 8:00PM, and celebrates the 2010 edition of Founders Brewing Company’s super-rare, super-limited annual Nemesis series.

2009 saw the initial release of Nemesis disguised as a Wheatwine aged in bourbon barrels that were previously used to age maple syrup. However, since each year brings about a new version of the beer, let us wave farewell to the old dude. Here is the description for 2010’s edition, first announced on The Wine & Cheese Place:

The 2010 release of Nemesis is best described by our brewing team as ‘a dark barley wine that pours black with a subtle mahogany hue. Brewed with 5 malts and no shortage of hops for a pleasantly bitter booming flavor. Roasty and toasty with a multitude of tastes that melts on your tongue.‘”

If that wasn’t enough, TGL will also be tapping Founders’ Canadian Breakfast Stout, a variation of their standard Breakfast Stout that again, was aged in bourbon and maple (the Canadian kind) harmony.

Don’t expect both, or any, to last through the evening.
