GHB Debut Hopnami

Introducing Greenport Harbor Brewing Co.’s newest brew, Hopnami.

(I must refrain myself from calling it Konami, the video game developer who produced such arcade classics as Contra and Blades of Steel. Not Konami. Hopnami. Hopnami. Hopnami. Blades of Steel was such a sick-nasty game.)

Here is Greenport’s official description of the Double IPA, sent over last night:

“Hopnami Double IPA 9.3% malt-North American Pilsner and Munich hops-Magnum, Warrior, Glacier, Cascade color-Golden Wave after wave of 4 kinds of hops, leveled off by just the right amount of malt and a splash of honey make this Double IPA extremely rideable.”

First batch (pictured above via their Facebook account) debuts at the NY Craft Beer Week event “Get Real NY: Craft Beer & Food Festival” on the 25th & 26th. Tickets for the six session cask festival can be purchased below (one session is already sold out).
