Sapsuckers Grand Opening

Introducing the newest craft beer establishment on Long Island, Sapsuckers.

Located in Huntington Village (287 Main St.), Sapsuckers is the baby brother of Red and Osteria Da Nino, both owned by chef Nino Antuzzi.

I spoke with team member Kelley Danek, and she said Sapsuckers is a “modern American pub with vintage touches,” offering a menu of “comfort food, but done in Nino’s caliber – all homemade with organic, local and free-range ingredients.”

Expect an all-craft beer line up of 16 drafts (current examples include Bear Republic Big Black Bear Stout, Founders Cerise, Cigar City Maduro Oatmeal Brown Ale, Unibroue La Terrible and Birrificio del Ducato VIÆMILIA) and 40 bottle selections.

Opens at 3:00PM. Serving until midnight Sun/Mon/Wed/Thu, 1:00AM Fri/Sat. Closed on Tuesdays.

I believe ‘suckers celebrated their official grand opening on Thursday, so head over and welcome them to the ‘hood.

Expect a tour and full report from Super Neat soon.
