New Horace, New Sylvia

Horace & Sylvia’s Publick House
100 Deer Park Ave.
Babylon, NY 11702
(631) 587 – 5081

Received an email last week about the revamping of Horace & Sylvia’s Publick House in Babylon.

Changes include a new menu, courtesy of new Executive Chef Brian Fugit, and some neat little happenings on the regular, like tonight’s Weihenstephan beer dinner @ 8:00PM, for example (last month’s Speakeasy Ales & Lagers pairing marked their first ever, I believe).

Five courses. Five Weihens. $45 bucks (plus tax and gratuity).

First Course

German Gnocchi Potato Salad w/Hefeweissbier

Second Course

Chef’s Selection of Assorted Cheeses w/Vitus

Third Course

Bratwurst and Knockwurst with Accompaniments w/Korbinian

Palate Cleanser

Orange Clove Gastrique

Fifth course

Braised Short Ribs and Apple Raisin Red Cabbage with Dumpling w/Hefeweissbier Dunkel

Sixth Course

Banana Bread Pudding w/Kristallweissbier
