To expand on our winter seasonal craft beer coverage, Patchogue brewhaus Brickhouse Brewery releases their Blitzen Ale on Friday, 12/10 (an exclusive pre-release party for Mug Club members will be held on Thursday, 12/09). Here is Brickhouse General Manager Maud Franklin’s description of Rudolph’s homie in ale form:

The Blitzen is a holiday-spiced ale, spiced with corriander, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, nutmeg, orange peel and infused with fresh local honey. It is a full bodied ale with a 9% ABV. It is $6 a pint, and available in growlers for $16.”

Only two batches (roughly 18 barrels) of Blitzen were brewed, so don’t sleep on this reindeer for long.
