Hofstra University’s athletics department announced its second major corporate sponsorship agreement this year with W.B. Mason joining the Pride Corporate Sponsorship family as the largest single sponsorship agreement in the athletic department’s history.
“We are delighted to announce our partnership with W.B. Mason and anxious to get to work maximizing the mutually beneficial elements of the agreement,” commented Hofstra University Director of Athletics Jack Hayes. “This sponsorship will provide significant additional resources for our student-athletes and coaches and elevates the visibility of the Hofstra Athletics brand.”
On Oct. 12, Hofstra and Capital One Bank announced a three-year corporate sponsorship agreement. This record-setting partnership represents the largest multi-year sponsorship for Hofstra Athletics and is highlighted by a new W.B. Mason Pride Lounge to be constructed on the court level in the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex.
The agreement also features title sponsorship of the GoHofstra.com PRIDE ZONE (live and on-demand video and audio) and of the weekly online coaches shows.
In addition, the agreement includes major branding opportunities throughout the Mack Sports Complex and James M. Shuart Stadium. W.B. Mason will also be prominently featured on new press conference backdrops with co-branded W.B. Mason and Hofstra Athletics marks. The sponsorship includes presenting sponsor rights for three men’s basketball games and one men’s lacrosse game.
WB Mason serves the Long Island region from a 42,000 square foot warehouse and distribution facility in Hauppauge. WB Mason has been in business for over 100 years and is the largest privately held office supplier in the United States with over 2,000 employees, 405 delivery trucks and 750 Sales Representatives covering 13 states and continuing to grow.
