Nutty Tasting Room Launch

The Nutty Irishman
60 E. Main St.
Bay Shore, NY 11706
(631) 969 – 9700

As Great South Bay Brewery starts construction on their 30-barrel brewhouse (located at 2309 Union Blvd.) this January, with hopes to open by April 1st, they have teamed with The Nutty Irishman to temporarily house their tasting room upstairs at the Bay Shore bar-staurant.

The Nutty Irishman/Great South Bay Brewery tasting room will launch this Thursday, 12/23 at 3:00PM.

From Great South Bay Brewery founder/head brewer Rick Sobotka:

“Since starting our adventure in September of 2010, we have provided Long Island with award winning craft beer, but the one thing we could not offer was a formal tasting room. Now with help from The Nutty Irishman of Bay Shore, we can offer a flight of samples and pints of GSB Beer to fulfill all of our fans, supporters and those who seek to taste GSB for the first time, until our brewhouse location is complete.”

Hours: Thursday/Friday – 3:00PM – 8:00PM, Saturday 12:00PM – 7:00PM

All Great South Bay Brewery pints: $4

Sampler Paddles: $5

Growler Fills: $15

Also expect official merchandise, exclusive release events as Great South Bay Brewery expands their beer portfolio, and a food menu paired specifically with each beer.

The tasting room officially opens on Thursday, 1/6, according to Nutty owner Mike McElwee.
