What’s On Tap?

Recite the following in your most grandiose late night infomercial voice (come on, shill those veggie-dicing telekinetic sword knives with fah-eeling!):

DO YOU DRINK CRAFT BEER? DO YOU OWN AND/OR REGULARLY PLAY WITH AN IPHONE? DO YOU FIND YOURSELF DESIRING TO BE TICKLED IN THE MOST INOPPORTUNE OF SITUATIONS?

If you answered an emphatic “YES!” to the first two questions (the third was merely proof of your eccentricity), download new craft beer iPhone application What’s On Tap? (WOT?) at http://www.wotbeer.com.

What’s On Tap? is an extensive database of craft beer bars and brews, searchable by current location, specific region or beer name, providing the brew enthusiast with real time information on menus, descriptions, tastings, special events (via the Beer O’Clock feature) and more. Bestest of all, it’s completely FREE to download and use and/or sign up (the latter applicable to bar and/or restaurant owners).

The current version of WOT? is 1.1. Here is what is expected for Version 2.0, which is its final stages of completion:

* Enhanced LOCATOR: search by brewery, state and beer style
* Automated ALERTS based on your WOT FAVORITES beer and bar selections
* Upcoming event FRIEND NOTIFIER via Facebook and Twitter
* Personalized TASTING NOTEBOOK
* Beer O’Clock/iPhone LINK to synch events to your iphone calendar
* Interactive beer games and screen savers
* Organize your own beer crawl with other WOT users

WOT? is currently based in New York City, but is attempting to expand to other areas in New York, and eventually, the United States. That’s where Super Neat Beer Adventure, Yes!! can help. Since our objective is to assist in any way possible, in terms of furthering the growth of craft beer on Long Island, we tag-teamed with What’s On Tap? like Michaels and Jannetty to help better connect local craft beer enthusiasts with their favorite bar and/or beer.

Whether craft beer establishment owner, consumer or both, sign up for What’s On Tap?, again, FOR FREE, nizow!

Note: For those interested, Super Neat Beer Adventure, Yes!! will offer their services to sign up one’s bar and/or restaurant and regularly manage all operations pertaining to the application. Inquiries can be sent via email.
