DEKS American Restaurant hosts the 2nd Annual Long Island Nano Cask Ale Festival, a gathering for the nano-, or smaller-sized craft breweries currently operating on Long Island, on Saturday, 1/29.

[A nanobrewery is not a brewery operated by Digimon, Pokemon and other Japanese anime media franchises.]

If one is supportive of, or even slightly intrigued by Long Island craft beer, the Nano Cask Ale Festival is an ideal venue to familiarize oneself with our unique beer scene, which continues to flourish and expand. Here is the prospective line-up from each of the participating nanobreweries and beer clubs:

Barrage Brewing :: McLaughlin’s Folly
Barrier Brewing Company :: Antagonist ESB
Blind Bat Brewery :: Mild-Mannered Ale
Long Island Beer & Malt Enthusiasts (LIBME) :: American Brown
Port Jefferson Brewing Company :: Dead Ryes Ryes-N-Bock
Rocky Point Artisan Brewers :: Porter

Expect special goodies, too, like an oak cask of a Belgian blend from Rocky Point Artisan Brewers.

Tickets are $40 each (includes a nonic half-pint bearing the festival logo). Phone DEKS to order.
