As mentioned in Friday’s entry (“Eleven Questions with…Ghost Cat Brewing,” directly below), Long Island’s newest craft microbrewery, Ghost Cat Brewing, makes their official debut with a “Free Tasting Party” at The Cortland tonight from 6:00PM – 8:00PM.

Based in East Islip and comprising two homebrewers, Scott Pereira and Paul Mazziotti, Ghost Cat Brewing will be in attendance to pour three versions of their oak-aged Pale Ale (voters will decide the final recipe) and two Belgian Strong Dark Ales?one fermented with blueberries, the other with raspberries.
