Firkin Friday (Long Ireland Breakfast Stout) at the Mc’Cortland

The Cortland
27 W. Main St.
Bay Shore, NY
(631) 206 – 2220

The (Mc’)Cortland’s third installment of “First Firkin Friday” (3/4, 6:00PM) doubles as St. Patrick’s Day preparation with the apropos Long Ireland Beer Company Breakfast Stout, a velvet smooth, session-friendly (only 3.5% ABV) stout that imparts flavors of coffee, chocolate and oatmeal with a roasty finish.

Our pal Dan Lutker will provide the unleash.

Why Lutker?

Because of his intense affection for St. Patrick’s Day, as evidenced in the photograph below:

Labeled “My Festive Firkin Gear” in an email attachment received earlier today, the intimate snapshot above came accompanied with a personal message from Lutker:

“I pour shots, stack loot and tap firkins.”
