As with everything else, we’re taking at look at March Madness with a Long Island scope. There are multiple players and coaches, boy girls and guys, who made the NCAA Division I tournament.
Here’s a look:
Men’s Tournament
-Billy Donovan, Florida head coach, Rockville Centre
-Niko Roberts, Kansas player, Huntington
-Tobias Harris, Tennessee player, Hills West
-Rick Pitino, Louisville, St. Dominic’s/Oyster Bay
Women’s Tournament
-Alexa Roche, Georgetown, St. Michael’s/Bellmore
-Kristine Best, Marist, St. Anthony’s/Commack
-Sam Prahalis, Ohio State, Commack
-Tesia Harris, St. John’s, Hills West

Donovan’s Florida bunch has been receiving ample love from many analysts as of late and Prahalis and Ohio State have a shot at winning a national title.
