Tap and Barrel hosts the release party for Goose Island Beer Company Big John, an 11.5% ABV imperial stout, on Thursday, 5/5.

Description of Big John (courtesy of Goose Island’s official site): “Inspired by the epic skyline of Chicago, Goose Island’s brewers set out to craft Big John; a tall, bold slugger of a stout that stands out vividly against the little soft beers out there.
