Presented by New York Cork Report, chef Keith Luce of Luce & Hawkins and Paul Dlugokencky of Blind Bat Brewery join minds and palettes on Monday, 5/23 (7:00PM) for the “first in a series of local wine, beer and spirits dinners at Luce & Hawkins in Jamesport.”
Chef Luce will pair a three course menu with five Blind Bat beers, including the debut of Honey-Basil Ale.
Dlugokencky on Honey-Basil Ale: It is part of Blind Bat’s farm-and-garden limited series of beers using local, seasonal ingredients. Honey-gold in color, tea-like and dry. Starts with a sweep of nectar with floral undertones, and finishes with some Fuggle hop bitterness. Basil lends some astringency. A very sessional 3.8% ABV.
Seats are $55 per person (including tax and gratuity). Only 40 seats are available.
