Kevin Crowley made history this week when he was the first player to be drafted first overall in the National Lacrosse League and Major League Lacrosse.
The Philadelphia Wings took him first in the NLL Entry Draft, joining him with fellow Canadian native and former Hofstra player Athan Iannucci.
“Kevin is going to be a star in the NLL on the floor, and we know he will represent the values of our Wings organization in the community,” said Wings General Manager and Head Coach Johnny Mouradian on the Wings website. “We really like his commitment to develop his game at the highest level. Our coaching staff and players look forward to seeing him on the floor.”
Jordan McBride, Class of 2011, the Seawolves’ all-time leader in goals with 175, was chosen 13th overall by the Colorado Mammouth.
