Local accomplished comedian Justin Thompson has branched out into organizing comedy benefit shows. His latest ventures include benefits for the Wounded Warrior Project, a charity that provides programs and services to severely injured armed service members and “Joe’s Cause,” a benefit for a friend with brain cancer. He is also making himself available for comedy fundraisers for firehouses, hospitals, rehab centers and other orgs.
