Bay Shore, NY 11706
(631) 206 – 2220

The Beer Amigos host Winterfest at The Cortland on Friday, 12/23 (7:00PM).

Great South Bay Brewery Amigo Chile Toboggan Ryed, a cask of Sleigh Ryed with green chilies and cocoa powder, and Spider Bite Beer Company Cort Is In Session, will pour via draft.

Amigo Chile Toboggan Ryed and Cort Is In Session are one-off, Winterfest-only creations.

Description of Cort Is In Session:

A black double IPA. 89 ibu. Galaxy, Calypso and Amarillo hops.

You’ve been issued an appearance ticket. The honorable Travis, Mike, Bobby and Ben will be presiding over this black as a judge’s robe IIPA. You will not be judged, but drink too much of this 12% beer and it will feel like you were hit with a gavel.

Travis Johnides, of The Beer Amigos, on Winterfest:

“Mike [Howland] and I wanted the first event we ever organized to be an event people would definitely want to attend. Thankfully, with the generous help of Bobby and Ben Gulinello from The Cortland, and the enthusiasm from everyone at Great South Bay Brewery and Spider Bite Beer Company, I think we were able to do just that. Great South Bay Brewery and Spider Bite Beer Company brewed one-off beers specifically for the event. There’s also going to be an ugly sweater contest, holiday music blasting from the speakers, Toys for Tots donations being accepted, and a SNOW MACHINE! Yup, there’s actually going to be a snow machine! Oh yeah, and rumor is we’ll be raffling off some tasty, hard-to-find beers!”
