A notable chef for 9/11 relief workers, he is making vertical, sustainable farming a reality. Adjacent to Valentino’s, he is constructing The Shared Table Farm and intends to hire “difficult to employ” individuals and transform them into urban farmers. Last year, he was part of a United Nations group that went to Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Laos and Cambodia to teach landmine victims vertical, sustainable farming techniques as a means to earn a living. http://www.sharedtablefarm.com
