Blue Point Brewing Company Releases Oatmeal Stout Bottle

Blue Point Brewing Company released its eighth 22oz bottle, Oatmeal Stout, on February 16.

Available in the Patchogue-based brewery’s tasting room and select retail markets, Oatmeal Stout, a 5.20% ABV four-malt stout brewed with flaked oats, is the second bottle release in February.

No Apologies, a 10.00% ABV IIPA, was released on February 3.

Description of Oatmeal Stout:

Commonly referred to as a “meal in a glass,” our Oatmeal Stout will make you appreciate that oats aren’t just for breakfast anymore. Carefully selected pale, crystal, chocolate, and roasted malts along with just the right amount of flaked oats make for an uncommonly silky, deeply malted, dark beer drinker’s dream come true. This full flavored and rich tasting legendary dark ale is romantically delicious. Please share with someone special, no matter what time of day…or night.

According to Curt Potter, director of branding and communications for Blue Point Brewing Company, Sour Cherry Imperial Stout is the brewery’s next release via bottle, following “recipe and label approval.”
