Litigation is what most laymen think of when they think of law. And anyone who’s been married thinks he can do it. But how many could successfully navigate the largest companies in the world through the labyrinth of legal matters they face, whether it be complex commercial disputes, malpractice, health law, federal fair debt collection practices, insurance and so on? Never mind defending a $65 million shareholder derivative action—successfully—or a $25 million action against the largest casino operator in the world. Also successfully.
