Sarah McNamara’s Miracle Skin Transformer is one of those tinted skin enhancers that seems to give your skin an airbrushed quality. With broad-spectrum SPF20 for daytime protection, this silicone-based lotion improves the appearance of skin texture and tone, and minimizes fine lines and pores immediately with a matte finish. According to the company, they have developed a unique delivery system that “encapsulates Vitamins A, E, K and Enzyme Q10 into tiny beads that burst on contact with your skin, improving cellular renewal, skin firmness and circulation.” It comes in seven shades, from Translucent to Deep Dark, and a little goes a long way. SkinTint FX Moisturizing Treatment & Tint by Cover FX is another great tinted product that gives your skin a glow with pearlized minerals. Oil-free, paraben-free and water resistant, this light, tinted moisturizer provides sun protection with SPF30. The key ingredient, sodium hyaluronate, can penetrate deep into the dermis and is able to hold more water than any other natural substance, making it perfect for maximum hydration, circulation and nutrient absorption. It provides anti-aging and anti-wrinkle benefits while protecting from further sun damage. About $42 for 1oz.

For oily skin, Paula’s Choice Shine Stopper Instant Matte Finish is a great tool. It, too, minimizes the appearance of pores and provides a matte finish, but controls oil, as well. It makes a great foundation primer, as it contains no coloring agents or dyes and is 100 percent fragrance free. It absorbs oil immediately upon application and has been clinically proven to continue absorption for at least six hours. When applied, it leaves a silky smooth finish that helps foundation look fresher longer. It can be used on the entire face or, for combination skin, just on those pesky oily areas. About $20 for 1fl oz.
