Greenport Harbor Brewing Company, a Greenport-based brewery opened in 2009 by John Liegey and Richard Vandenburgh, celebrates its third year of existence on July 21 (4:00PM).

Hosted at its current production facility on Carpenter Street (the brewery secured a building in Peconic for full-time operation in 2013), Greenport Harbor Brewing Company will offer every beer created within the last 12 months, and release #3, a Belgian-style witbier.

Description of #3:

4.40% ABV: 1,576,800 short minutes ago we released our very first beer. Today we celebrate our 3rd anniversary with #3, a sessionable Belgian-style witbier. Brewed to a hazy straw color and lightly spiced with both bitter orange peel and fresh orange zest, coriander, and chamomile. Fruity and refreshingly tart, take some time and enjoy a pint.

According to Greg Doroski, assistant brewer, Greenport Harbor Brewing Company “only brewed 30 barrels of #3, so once it’s gone, it’s gone.”
