Tuesday Candid Dopeness: Barrier Brewing Barrel Demo (08/28)

61 Local hosted an eight-beer hostage with Barrier Brewing Company on August 25, which featured the release of La Pete, a Belgian-style pour of burnt toast and haze, and a barrel-reconditioning demonstration by cooper, Joe O’Sullivan. The cabernet sauvignon barrel restored by O’Sullivan, donated by Red Hook Winery, will experimentally age the Oceanside-based brewery’s second batch of La Pete.
