Long Ireland Beer Company hosted Halfway To St. Patrick’s Day Party on September 15, releasing (via cask) Wet Hopped Pale Ale, a 6.20% ABV, malty-sweet pale ale brewed with 30 pounds of hops from Condzella’s Farm in Wading River. Operated by Dan Burke and Greg Martin, Long Ireland Beer Company is the second Long Island brewery to release beer using Condzella’s Farm-harvested hops (first = Port Jeff Brewing Company Fresh Hop Ale). According to Super Neat Beer Adventure, Yes!!, a creation from Blue Point Brewing Company is also forthcoming.
