John R. Buran, Director, President and CEO of Flushing Bank has been named chairman of the American Heart Association’s Long Island Heart Walk. Buran, who led the walk, is this year’s top fundraiser, raising over $18,000. Flushing Bank sponsored the walk as well, with the arrangement including CPR training for every employee.
