Purple Consignment Store founder and co-owner Silvana Galasso turned her personal experiences with domestic violence into a mission to help other women dealing with the same issues. As an active member of Nassau County Coalition Against Domestic Violence, she donates clothing to women’s shelters and her Port Washington boutique donates two percent of every sale to victims of abuse.
