FEBRUARY
1st­—Todd Wolfe Band
Treme, Islip
The guitarist brings his unique “bluesadelic” sound to this hip new venue in Islip. According to Wolfe, the band’s sound, which is a stylistic blend of sixties rock and Mississippi swamp grooves, recalls “a time when men were men and amps were amps.”

6th—Live in the Lobby
Patchogue Theatre
This unique concert series celebrates its 100th show with appearances by such local favorites as Kerry Kearney, Johnny Lee Jordan, Rorie Kelly, Hank Stone, Claudia Jacobs and Miles To Dayton.

Singer/songwriter Toby Tobias plays host to one of Long Island’s newest open mic nights every Wednesday. This funky coffeehouse, which provides the ambience of an Italian grandmother’s kitchen, is a great venue to discover local songwriters in their natural habitat.
