Off the Cuff
The ankle strap is widely known to be thin and discreet. Then Gucci upgraded it to an ankle cuff and made an otherwise minimalistic Ursula cage t-strap sandal grand. The signature horsebit embellishment hops from its usual place atop their men’s loafer to perfectly accent the slim finish of a woman’s leg. No southbound suitcase would be complete without an envy-inducing stiletto.

Nature Neutral
Every beach bum knows a trip to the beach is always better with the quintessential tote. The styling remains fairly standard, leaving prints and colors to catch the eyes. Seafolly picked up on the chevron trend (big this spring) with the Zig Zag Bag made of water repelling cotton canvas to keep beach necessities dry. Magid sand-tone wide brim keeps face and shoulders protected and the look completed.

Available at Blum’s, Patchogue, (631) 475-0136

Side Show
Finding the perfect shades is more than just aesthetics. The process involves a shape that perfectly frames the face, a hue that highlights its complexion and UV protection strong enough to get the job done on the brightest day. Intricate stem designs can do this and more. BVLGARI pays homage to their 1960s Serpenti collection with scale embellishment at the temple. David Yurman Signature Cable gives the arms character with moonstone and a sweeping silhouette.

Both available at Precision Eye Care, Huntington, (631) 462-2020

Gone With the Wind
Whether protecting a flawless coif from fierce winds or locking in the heat once the sun sets on a lazy beach day, a lightweight scarf is a resort essential. We Are Owls creates works of art that are much more than an accessory. Stay features an optical illusion set in gossamer cashmere.
