14th – Park Avenue Gypsies
Clovis Point Winery, Jamesport

For a taste of something a little different, journey out to this pleasant winery for a performance of Tin Pan Alley standards, hot jazz, blues and western swing.

28th – Breakaway
RS Jones Restaurant, Merrick

A night of original blues music featuring two of Long Island’s best Americana players performing in one of the most intimate venues to be found on the local scene.

28th – Steve Adelson Stick-Tet Power Trio Featuring the Ucci Brothers
Treme, Islip

If you dig jazz, don’t miss this new trio featuring world-renowned Chapman Stick virtuoso Steve Adelson, guitarist Chieli Minucci and drummer Frank Bellucci. Pianist Rachel Z from the Peter Gabriel band will also sit in for an evening of tasty jamming.

Pulse: How long has the Power Trio been together?
Sometime in the spring of 2013, we did our first gig as part of the Jazz On The Vine series and followed that up with gigs at The Cutting Room in NYC and Treme in Islip. Our goal is to perform at some major jazz clubs and festivals and possibly tour Europe.
