It was a sold-out event for the annual golf tournament, which raises money to support a variety of not-for-profit organizations including American Cancer Society, St. Jude’s Hospital, Southampton Hospital, Ovarian Cancer Research Fund and camps that teach nutrition for young people. Since 1998 the event has been played in the Hamptons and this year was the first held at Friar’s Head, an internationally renowned venue named as a top golf course.
