This weekend is all about art. ArtHamptons and Art Market are not to be missed out on the East End. And in Huntington the first of two summer shows opens at the Huntington Arts Council. Need some help, getting to know the artists? Check out “9 in Art 2014”. After pursuing the art collections don’t forgot to check out some of the other events happening this weekend. Here are three can’t miss events.

Art in the Hamptons
WHEN/WHERE: Various Locations, Various Times
WHY GO: It’s all about in the Hamptons this weekend. ArtHamptons and Art Market open on Thursday, July 10 and run through the weekend. ArtHamptons is the largest art fair on the East End and unites collectors with pieces to treasure. Established in 2011 Art Market is also not to be missed. The annual fair connects collectors with dealers.

WHEN/WHERE: July 11 to July 12, 2pm to 6pm at 426 West Lake Drive, Montauk.
WHY GO: There’s no other tournament like it. The no-kill shark tournament supports science and shark research while promoting education and environmental awareness.
PRICING: Free admission
Live Performances by Rorie Kelly
WHEN/WHERE Saturday, July 12 at 8pm at Brickhouse Brewery in Patchogue and Sunday, July 13 from 10am to noon at the Babylon Farmer’s Market.
WHY GO: It’s the chance to see singer/songwriter Rorie Kelly perform before she heads off to Nashville later in July to perform at the “She Rocks” Showcase. Kelly is the only artist going from Long Island.
