Are you a “Library Lover?” An “Information Omnivore?” Or are you totally “Off the Grid?” Earlier this year the Pew Research Center found that more than two-thirds of Americans are actively engaged with public libraries.
The report examined the relationship Americans have with their local library and technology. Not surprisingly the study found that Americans who are more engaged in their communities are more engaged at their libraries. What was surprising, though, according to the researchers, is that the most highly engaged library users tended to be the biggest technology users.
