Taste Long Island Wine Cruise & Lobsterbake
Relax aboard the Atlantis Explorer as it cruisers along the Peconic River. The Long Island Aquarium’s Taste Long Island Wine Cruise & Lobsterbake starts out aboard the boat with a tasting of Rapheal Vineyards’ wines and then ends back on shore with a lobsterbake, cash bar and music.

Artists & Writers Celebrity Softball Game
Batter Up! The annual charity softball game at Herrick Park in East Hampton takes place on Saturday and it’s the can’t miss event of the summer for celebrity sightings. Matt Lauer, Alex Baldwin and Chevy Chase are just a few of the celebrities expected to play ball at the event where you never know just who you will see. Last year former President Bill Clinton stopped by. The game starts at 2pm, with a rain date of Aug. 23.

Long Island Bluegrass Festival
The Long Island Blue Grass Festival returns for the 12th year Saturday. Bring a lawn chair and spend the afternoon listening to local and national bluegrass bands including Tony Trischka & Territory, The Claire Lynch Band, Eastbound Freight and more.
