An Unusual Twist on a Classic Holiday

Brussels Sprouts may only be unusual in households that hate them. What’s the most unique Thanksgiving side you’ve ever had? Image: Flickr Mallory Dash.

Cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes and stuffing are just some of the classic favorites that Americans enjoy with turkey dinner on the fourth Thursday of each November.

While these popular sides are delicious, their yearly comeback can get pretty boring, and in a place like Long Island where there is always something fun to do, boredom should be non-existent.

That’s why Long Island Pulse wants to keep things interesting at your Thanksgiving feast this fall season. We’re asking you to submit your unusual and unique Thanksgiving side dishes to share with other Pulse readers.

Fill out the Google Form below to submit your side dish recipe and photo. We can’t wait to find out what interesting things you like to whip up with your turkey!
