Midsummer Night Dance
The Vanderbilt Museum’s popular Midsummer Night Dances end Thursday. The featured dance step is the Salsa. Don’t worry they’ll be some lessons if you’re not sure about the steps and there will be other types of dances throughout the evening. Gates to the Celebration Tent on the Great Lawn open at 6pm, with dance lessons from 6:30 to 7 and dancing until 9:30. Light dinner fare from Delicatessen and Caterers will be provided.

Tools and Talent
Join Brooklyn Grange and Bien Hecho for Tools and Talent: DIY Salad Tongs Workshop and Harvest on Sunday at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Spend the morning learning to make your own wooden salad tongs and the afternoon touring Brooklyn Grange’s urban farm. Harvest some veggies, make a farm fresh salad and try out those new tongs.

Animation Sensation Film Fest
This three-day, interactive film festival is the first-ever Animation Sensation Film Fest. Local resident and actress Isabella Rossellini hosts the festivals that will explore the medium of animation and cartooning. Presented by the Plaza Cinema & Media Arts Center, the festival will include workshops, films and an animation art gallery.
