HUNTINGTON
Steven Wright at The Paramount
This Academy-award winning comedian (that’s right, look it up) has had a career spanning 30 years, with his most recent gig as a consulting producer for Louie. With his trademark deadpan, monotone delivery, he’ll offer up witty one-liner observations like, “I went to a restaurant that serves ‘breakfast at any time.’ So I ordered French toast during the Renaissance.”

OLD BETHPAGE
178th Annual Long Island Fair
Enjoy Long Island’s oldest fair. Once called the Queens County Fair, the event moved to Old Bethpage Village in 1970 and was renamed. Over 25,000 festivalgoers crowd the fairgrounds each year to enjoy the many crafts and hobby workshops along with the displays of horticultural, agricultural and domestic arts exhibits. Prizes are awarded to individual best of class. Be sure to catch a glimpse of the Island’s largest squash and biggest sunflower.
