WEST SAYVILLE
Halloween Boat Burning
Thousands gather on the shore annually to watch this unique maritime spectacle. A boat deemed unfit for sailing is chosen as a “sacrifice” honoring local residents and Long Island’s rich maritime history. Festivities also include raffles, live music and seasonal food and refreshments like hot apple cider.
