Finding Marsala

When the color experts at Pantone named Marsala the it color for 2015, it was met with some skepticism. The Cut notably called it icky: “It’s a color that makes you want to go to Olive Garden or order Tampax in bulk.”

Maybe marsala is just the type of color that needs some time to grow on people. Pulse beauty writer Christina Vercelletto took a closer look at the reddish, mauve hue finding the color the perfect neutral with a punch for spring prettifers and now can’t help seeing it everywhere. Explore a few of the places we’re spotting marsala and share your own marsala images with us on Twitter and Instagram.
