Brewing Up a Festival on the East End

Blue Point Brewery, Crooked Ladder Brewing Company, Greenport Harbor Brewing co….the East End has become a beer lover’s paradise in the past few years. In seems like everyday a new craft brewery opens up. It’s becoming a challenge to try all of them.

Enter the East End Craft Beer Festival.

“We wanted to let people try everyone’s beer all in one place,” Kristen Reyes of Hotel Indigo said.

The Riverhead boutique hotel and Bistro 72 are hosting the first ever East End Craft Beer Festival on Friday, April 17. Try a variety of craft beers, wines, spirits, hops, Bloody Mary’s and local fare. All produced and served on Long Island’s East End.

The festival kicks off at 7pm with two hours of craft tastings, chili, chowder and more local food. The bar will stay open until 11pm. Tickets are $50 for the 2-hour tasting from 7 to 9pm, $75 for access to the tasting and open bar until 11pm, and $20 designated driver tickets which includes food and non alcoholic tastings from 7 to 11pm. Long Island based Miles to Dayton will play live music throughout the event.
