1st Annual EAT Father’s Day Pig Roast & BBQ
Pig out with your dad at the first-ever EAT Father’s Day Pig Road & BBQ. His first beer is on the house. EAT is only taking 200 reservations, so book ASAP at 516-766-9547.

Dad’s Backyard Favorites
Your dad may have some trouble choosing from George Martin‘s menu Sunday. The restaurant is offering a three-course meal of a salad, entree and dessert. Items include beefsteak tomatoes and red onion salad, grilled free range chicken, baby back ribs, spice rubbed and charred prime flat iron steak, hot fudge sundaes…we’re hungry just thinking about it.

Father’s Day Farm Fest
There’s something for the whole family this weekend at Harbes Family Farm & Vineyard. Fly a kite and sample local wine, fruits and beverages. Master beekeeper Chris Kelly will be making presentations and leading a free escorted tour of the hive. Dads get in free all weekend, as it should be.

Give Dad a Taste of Havana Central
Make it a guys day out at Havana Central, where there will be a hand-crafted cigar roller. Enjoy a free cigar when you purchase a pint of Hatuey. Don’t be afraid to sample something from the cocktail menu. We won’t take your man card.

Island Princess/Bay Princess
Gone fishing! Island Princess will be operating on a normal schedule and open to the public, with the first flukes trip running from 7-11:15am and the second running from 12-4:15pm. A stripers and blues trip will go from 6pm-10pm. It’s a popular way to spend the day with Dad, so Bay Princess will also offer the two flukes trips. Bay Princess requires reservations.

Father’s Day Luncheon Cruise
Hop on a 65-foot, turn-of-the-century boat for a special day with Dad. A buffet lunch will be served on board. Bring the little ones because this cruise is kid friendly.

Ray Downey Forever Running Memorial 5K
Break a sweat with your pops at the Ray Downey Forever Running Memorial 5K. There’s even a Father-Child Team Competition, where fathers can select one child to race with, so come up with your most creative pre-race handshake and get ready to leave everyone else in the dust. Afterwards, toast to your epic victory at the Verde Wine Bar tasting table. Proceeds will go to the D.C. Raymond Downey Scholarship Charity Fund, created in honor of Deputy Chief Raymond M. Downey, Commanding Officer of the Special Operations Command (SOC), who died while helping people escape the Twin Towers on September 11.
