A mechanical bull took center stage, cowboys walked around on stilts, Southband crooned rock and country tunes and whiskey sours were the drink of choice Friday, June 19 at the Riverhead Foundation for Marine Research and Preservation’s 15th Annual Oceans of Hope Dinner Gala at Long Island Aquarium and Exhibition Center.

There were saloon and carnival games, raffles and silent auctions and dancing all night long.

The event raised funds for the Riverhead Foundation’s mission of marine mammal and sea turtle rescue and research.
