North Shore Animal League America honored those who help to rescue, nurture and adopt homeless animals into loving homes at the 2015 Lewyt Humane Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, June 24. The honorees included Dorothy Graham, the New York Mets and Joey, a 10-year-old Mutt-i-gree.

The event, chaired by Sandra Atlas Bass, and hosted by Brian Balthazar was held at Leonard’s Palazzo of Great Neck. The net proceeds from the luncheon go to Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption & Wellness Center , a capital campaign project to expand Animal League America’s Adoption Center.
