If this doesn’t make you smile, well, we don’t know what to tell you. The viral video of the week shows Piper Verdusco, an 11-month-old cutie from Cincinnati, struggling with her pink glasses but ultimately cracking a huge smile when they were on correctly. Who can blame her? The moment captured Piper seeing her parents, Jessica Sinclair and Andrew Verdusco, for the first time. Sinclair posted the video to Facebook June 6 and it has since been viewed more than 18 million times and viewed more than 270,000 times. Piper looks super-stylish in those glasses, don’t you think?
A Happy Shark Story
People are often rescued from sharks but this week it was a Great White Shark that got rescued by beach goers on Cape Cod. The 7-foot-long male juvenile shark was found stranded and beach goers kept the shark wet until a team of rescuers arrived and used ropes to support and guide the animal out to sea. An acoustic tag put on the shark will record the shark’s movements.
