Lighting Strikes and a Rainbow Shines

Finally! After years of trying I finally got my lightning and rainbow picture. What an awesome evening. I headed out...

If this doesn’t make you love summer storms, nothing will. An Arizonian man snapped a picture of a lighting strike intersecting a rainbow. “This evening just before sunset, I finally got the shot I’ve been trying to get for years,” McCown said in a Facebook post.

What a shot it was.

Trip of a Lifetime

There are summer road trips, and then there’s this. Five puppies and three adult dogs left high-kill shelters in North Carolina Saturday, hopped in a van and went on a 600-mile trip to Westchester SPCA for a second chance at life. Foster homes await the irresistible little guys and girls, who had been scheduled to be put to sleep. We hope they find their home sweet forever homes soon. The holidays came early for meme lovers Wednesday. Tom Brady was in court for a Deflategate settlement hearing regarding his four-game suspension (because Deflategate is apparently still a thing), and sketch artist Jane Rosenberg took some artistic liberties with the four-time Super Bowl champion’s face. Yes, that’s Tom Brady. And yes, he kind of resembles a troll. Or maybe that’s ET.

Or perhaps Michael Jackson.

Rosenberg apologized for the sketch that sent the Internet into a frenzy, but Jets fans probably love her. No need to remind them of their quarterback troubles
