Rich Cave
Title Insurance/Real Estate EVP/COO, 1st Equity Title & Closing Services
Those who know Cave would agree with his co-star’s assessment: Rich has impeccable style and taste. No detail is ever an afterthought, from his pocket square to his socks.
It follows then that the charity he put his name to has a sartorial bent. The man who “could sleep in a suit” and counts Jay Gatsby among his icons is a co-founder of Long Island’s PinkTie.org, a charity that networks professionals because “there is nothing more fulfi lling than growing your business by giving back.”
Cave keeps an eye out for connections between things he loves—sports, the real estate and title industries and making a difference in breast cancer awareness and research—which is what PinkTie is about. The group’s annual fundraisers have been known to draw the biggest crowds on the island. That selflessness might well be his greatest charm. “[Helping] my clients grow their businesses is what I love about it. To be successful, it entails putting the goals of my clients before my own.”
JoAnn Winkhart
Business Development
The Refuge & K. Pacho Restaurants
Winkhart earned her style cred while working towards her degree in fashion marketing at FIT followed by a decade in the garment district. She describes her look as “always feminine… a mixture of sexy, fun and chic,” which fits her days (and nights) networking on behalf of one of the hottest restaurant groups on Long Island. “I have always been an outgoing, social personality… Developing new business and maintaining relationships with existing clients is a perfect fit.”
Recently the rock ‘n’ roll chick’s openheartedness has attracted a national spotlight. She has been appointed district leader for the Humane Society. Her footprint covers Long Island, but also allows her “to advocate for animals and the passage of humane laws” on a national scale, focused on making a difference for animals and the environment everywhere.
