Shoppers have been clamoring for another ALEX AND ANI Long Island shop for many years, and their wishes have been granted just in time for the holiday season. The famously charitable, eco-friendly and affordable jewelry brand, which also has a store in Southampton, opened its doors near Bloomingdale’s on the upper level in Roosevelt Field® Mall this month. “A Long Island location has been in high demand for many years and we can’t wait to finally give our customers what they have been asking for. We’ve staffed our store with an energetic and positive team who look forward to making meaningful connections with each and every customer,” said Gabrielle Priano, area manager.
Shoppers can get a head start on their gift shopping. Holiday 2015 collections are now available for purchase at the new ALEX AND ANI Long Island site, including their CHARITY BY DESIGN Ginger Bread charm bracelet, available now through Feb. 29, 2016. The red charm adorned with a gingerbread and white snowflakes and attached to an expandable wire bangle will bring about memories of holidays past spent baking cookies all while helping others. Twenty percent of the proceeds go to non-profit partner Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI), a foundation that provides both children and adults battling cancer with life-saving treatments and helps develop cures through research.
Also included in the socially conscious line’s compilation of jewels is The Retro Glam collection, fully equipped with crystals and romantic nuances of the holiday. Insider Priano explains, “The Retro Glam collection is full of color and sparkle that is perfect for the festive holiday season.”
