Why Go:
Let your palate travel around the world with wines from California, France, Australia, Portugal and more. More than 300 wines are showcased with cheese, bread, olive oils, chocolate and other pairings from local shops. Live jazz music will accompany the walk through the expo. Go.

What: So You Think You Can Dance?
Where: The Paramount

 Saturday, Nov. 7, 8 pm
Why Go:
 The Season 12 tour of Fox’s hit show, SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE?, is bringing choreography and killer dance moves to the stage. The Founder’s Room will be host to an after party, where members enjoy a classy music experience. Go.

Where: Participating restaurants across Long Island
When: Nov. 1-8
Why Go: Now is the ideal time to test out that local restaurant you’ve been hearing a lot about lately. Since 2006, the bi-annual event supports local eateries and exudes positivity towards our region’s restaurants. Loosen your belts and taste what our island has to offer. Go.

What: CancerCare’s 13th Annual Lung Cancer Walk for Hope
Where: Town of Oyster Bay Golf Course
When:
 Sunday, Nov. 8, 8-11am.
Why Go:
 Be a part of one of CancerCare’s largest fundraising events, where more than 1,000 people join to support the program’s mission to provide free, professional services to those diagnosed with lung cancer. Lace up your kicks and walk for hope.  Go.
